Golden light, warm croissants, and specialty coffee from morning to last call. Lumière is the corner café Sheikh Zayed has been waiting for.
Our pastry chef Camille trained in the 6th arrondissement before bringing lamination to New Cairo. Every croissant is proofed overnight and pulled from the oven at 6:45am — you can smell it from the street.
The room is all linen, marble and morning light. Come for the pain au chocolat, stay until the natural wine comes out at dusk.
Our most-photographed plate, three years running.
