One espresso machine, a beach generator, and a bet that people would come at sunrise. They did — and they kept coming.
Summer 2020: a coffee cart on the Sidi Abdel Rahman boardwalk. Summer 2022: the first roofed terrace, twelve tables, one very tired family. Summer 2024: the full kitchen opens, and the sayadeya sells out by 3pm every single day.
We still roast in Alexandria, still open at six, and the founder's mother still tastes every new mezze before it touches the menu.
The terrace hosts 80 under string lights. Weddings, retreats, long family tables — the kitchen scales, the view doesn't quit.
